Description: | EnergyNet is a classroom project that integrates technology, standards-based learning and workplace skills. Students in grades 3–5 participate in “Energy Detectives.” Students in grades 6–12 participate in “Energy Auditing.” At their respective levels, the children look at energy use in their schools to determine where energy and money are being wasted. Using computers and advice from EnergyNet's own technology experts, the students perform an energy audit and suggest money-saving tips. Students learn content in math, science, technology, and language arts in a hands-on environment. Correlated to your state's science standards. | ||
