Description: | In this project, TERC has redesigned the units in the former Kids Network series to incorporate a Web-based structure and delivery system and add a new unit for grades 5–8. Each unit includes hands-on investigations; on-line inquiries; activities for reading, writing, and communicating about the science content that is the focus of the unit; and embedded assessments. Topics of investigation range from favorite pets for the youngest grades to water, food, trash, oxygen use, and the state of the Polar Regions for the oldest grades. | ||
