Date:2009/1999
Author(s):Bernie Zubrowski
Format:Book, Video/DVD
Model Windmills is a set of videos and written materials intended to be a resource for teacher educators and teachers. The tapes show a fourth-grade teacher’s continuing work over a period of four weeks in an urban school using a hands-on, design and construction-oriented curriculum about windmills.

The Facilitator’ Guide provides a background of theory and practical issues as they relate to the teaching of science and design technology at the elementary level.

The User’s Guide gives a transcript of the students’ and teacher’s verbal comments on the tapes and provides suggestions for discussing basic issues as they occur.
