A presentation/workshop made at the 2008 NSTA convention in Boston. The presenters were Jud Hill and Laura Baumgartner, a field test teacher from Bellevue, Washington. Participants explored the concept of energy conversion. They first read a story about a person who has been assigned to work on an ad for a hybrid car and then they were challenged to build a toy car that moved using different forms of energy in a series of steps.
