| This article offers the high school science teacher a perspective on and strategy for including the history of science in their curriculum. The examples described in the article are drawn from chemistry, but the strategies apply to other science disciplines as well. The article appeared in NSTA's The Science Teacher and is based on the CSE-developed online curriculum tool, Using the History of Science in the Chemistry Classroom. The author of the article was the principal developer of that resource. The CSE Web site also includes a companion resource: Using the History of Science in the Physics Classroom. |
