2nd Annual Celebration of Teaching and Learning

imageCSE staff will be speaking at Thirteen/WLIW21's second annual CELEBRATION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING on March 23-24 at the Unconvention Center, W. 55th Street and 12th Avenue in Manhattan. This conference focuses on science, global awareness and social studies, with an across-the-board emphasis on integrating technology into classrooms.

In addition to EDC's Speakers -- Jacqueline S. Miller on Science and Media, Dr. Babette Moeller on Math for All, Marian M. Pasquale on Meeting Standards in a Middle-Grades Science Classroom, and Karen Worth on the Inquiry-Based Elementary Science Classroom -- you can hear former Vice President Gore on climate change, Tim Russert of NBC News, lead a Town Hall meeting "Preparing Our Students for the 21st Century," Dr. Mel Levine, pediatrician and internationally renowned expert on learning difference and U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings on the importance of integrating technology into education. For more information on this celebration, go to www.thirteencelebration.org.
