Meeting FAQs 

Below are answers to some common questions. If you have a question for which you cannot find the answer below, please send us an e-mail at DR-K12@edc.org and we will get back to you within one business day.

What is my login information to register?
We send login usernames and passwords by e-mail. Starting in August, please check your inbox and also your Spam for an e-mail from DR-K12 with the Subject line: 2009 DR-K12 PI Meeting Registration Information.

What do I do if I accidentally deleted the e-mail with my login information?
Please contact DR-K12@edc.org and we will resend it to you.

What if I have not received an invitation to attend the 2009 DR-K12 PI Meeting?
Only those invited may attend the PI Meeting. We will open registration to nominated guests on a space available basis starting September 8. At that time, PIs will be able to nominate one other member of their project to attend by clicking on the NOMINATE A GUEST link on their registration home page and submitting a completed nomination form.

Can I bring a guest?
See above.

What if I cannot attend?
PIs can name a substitute from your project who will attend on your behalf. Please send the name of your substitute, project name, their role on the project, their e-mail address, and phone number to DR-K12@edc.org. We will send the substitute a login username and password.

How do I know that I am successfully registered?
All PIs are required to submit full personal and project information. All other meeting participants are only required to submit personal information in order to register for the meeting. You can see the status of your registration on the main registration page after you log in. The page will tell you if your information (personal and/or project) is complete.

If I registered for the meeting, will I automatically have a hotel reservation?
No, you will need to contact the hotel in order to reserve a room. Hotel information is available on your registration home page after you have completed your meeting registration.

If I have a hotel reservation, will I automatically be registered for the meeting?
No. Please complete the meeting registration.
