- Using
the History of Science in the CHEMISTRY Classroom. This
site contains specific resources and suggestions for how
the history of science might be integrated into an introductory
chemistry and physical science classroom. Features include
annotated lists of links to Web resources on the
history of chemistry, using the history of science
in teaching, and historical entries that have been
created to align both to standards and students'
sense of curiosity and interest.
- Using
the History of Science in the PHYSICS Classroom. This

on the history of physics, using the history of
science in teaching, and historical entries that
have been created to align both to standards and
students' sense of curiosity and interest.
- Web-Based
High School Chemistry Simulations. This guide
links chemistry simulations that support inquiry teaching
and learning using MCREL standards and the National
Science Education Standards as a way for teachers to
search for online resources for themselves and their students.
- Force Video for High School Science. (21 minute video) This video was developed by EDC for PSSC Physics in 1959 and features Jerrold Zacharias, the lead author from MIT.
- Stories in Science: The Backbone of Science Learning. This article, published in the April/May 2009 issue of NSTA's The Science Teacher, discusses how and why stories are beneficial to use in the science classroom.
