| Bettina Dembek, CSE research associate, participates in the writing of curriculum and professional development programs. She also leads the development of technologies that support those programs, including web-conferencing for inter-district conferencing and professional development. Prior to joining CSE, Bettina taught English as a Second Language (ESL), Earth Science, and Physical Education in Germany, England, and an Aboriginal community in Australia. She also assisted the Ministry of Education in Ghana with establishing an Education Management Information System (EMIS), and she managed an International Training Project for DaimlerChrysler. Bettina earned a master’s degree in education/developmental psychology from Stuttgart University in Germany and a master's degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University. |
